On 22nd July 2025, Adoption UK, Coram, Family Rights Group, CVAA, Kinship and Barnardos co-signed an open letter to the Secretary of State for Education, Rt Hon Bridget Phillipson MP calling for an urgent review of the changes made to the ASGSF, for confirmation of funding beyond March 2026, and for confirmation that any future reform will be made only following a full and proper consultation. Included with the letter were interim results of our survey of parents and carers, which show just how devastating the impact of the changes announced in April have been on families.
